Support for Parents:
We hold an annual Cyber Safe presentation to our parents. Children in Key Stage 2 have inputs from the Schoolbeat team around staying safe online; however, we have identified a significant knowledge gap between them and the parents. This is concerning especially when the majority of time spent online is at home.
We would like to improve the knowledge around this subject so the presentation covers information on Apps, Social Media, Influencers, Cyberbullying, grooming, sexting/sextortion and of course online security.
The presentation lasts approximately 1 hour 15 mins and is run by a member of the Cyber Intelligence, Protect, Prepare and Prevent Department from Gloucestershire Constabulary.
